This was a gift for my mother who has been collecting crystal animals for many years. I was a little disappointed as I first opened the package to look at the item because I couln't see the yellow glow like in the picture. But then I held it up to the light an thought it was beautiful. I gave the gift as a mother's day present and my mother was delighted. A few days later, she called just to tell me that when she walks across her living room, she can see the firefly glow as the sun hits it. She says it looked like it was flashing, just like a real firefly. I started collecting crystal figures recently as well. I tried dropping hints that I wanted this product as well. Maybe I will get lucky some day, as I don't like to splurge on myself. Just to add, I have ordered several items in the past from this website, and the product always comes very quickly and I have not been disappointed yet. I am sure I will shop here again in the future. Thank you.
